Arrived Fakarava

We are trying to get better at updating this blog!
Today we sailed to Fakarava, and are now anchored at the village of Rotoava, at 16°03.5S, 145°37.3W.
We checked for the advertised WiFi connection, and are not getting it at the boat. We will try to find a spot where it works so we can upload some photos - we have a bunch that we think are good, and are always shooting more.
Today's sail was completely awesome! Although it was more downwind than we prefer, the weather was perfect and we smoked it. We left the anchorage at Kauehi 1/2 hr after our neighbor, and were anchored in Fakarava 1/2 hr before them. Ok, they are a smaller boat, but it made us feel good about our sailing anyway.
We expect to stay here three days, then sail (upwind) to Tahanea where we will stay a week before heading to Tahiti.
